I'm moving to Hawaii from San Francisco, CA. I've never visited Hawaii before but I'm hoping to live in an area with somewhat of a queer community. I've lived in a few co/ops and I wouldnt be opposed to that kind of living situation but I was hoping to find a few cool, preferably queer people to share a space with!! I just got back to SF after 2 years living and traveling in Brazil! Its quite a shock and I realize, I don't really want to be starting over here.. If I have to start over somewhere I would so much rather have to do it in Hawaii.. But I am without connections there.. Where can I go in Hawaii to stay while I find a job? Are jobs even possible to find? Without friends there for help and support , it seems kinda impossible. At the same time, I feel really ready to do it.
If you have any suggestions or know any communities there that would welcome a girl and help her get on her feet, I would love to know!
Or if you know anyone who might know , please send them this email!
